  • We should be engaged as early as possible in a design project. If an architect is engaged,⁣ ideally we should be engaged at the same time. This ensures everyone works together from⁣ the outset and the design intent of the client, architect and interior designer are aligned. It⁣ gives rise to a coherent design and avoids costly changes later in the design process or⁣ build.

  • There are numerous methods interior designers can use to charge for their services. The⁣ method we adopt depends on the type of project. It ranges from fixed to hourly rates and is⁣ set out in detail in the Engagement Agreement we enter with you before the project⁣ commences.

  • Yes, we can work with your existing furniture and decor to create a cohesive and harmonious⁣ design. We can also suggest new pieces to add to your collection or suggest⁣ reupholstery/refurbishment of existing pieces to enhance the overall design aesthetic.

  • Yes, we provide 3D renderings to help clients visualise the design concept. This allows for changes and adjustments to be made before the design is finalised and implemented.

  • The length of our design process depends on the type of project and the extent of our⁣ involvement. A typical project would take around 4 months, less for a small project. Where a⁣ project is run in tandem with an architectural project, the latter will generally dictate the time⁣ taken for the interior design and can even run for one, two or more years from initial⁣ consultation to build completion. If furniture procurement is involved, the length of the⁣ project will depend on the lead time of the pieces to be procured.

  • Our process typically starts with an initial consultation where we get to know you and your⁣ design vision. From there, we create a design proposal outlining our services, scope of work⁣ and fees. Once the proposal is accepted and an Engagement Agreement signed, we begin⁣ the design process. This process can include concept creation, design development,⁣ documentation, sourcing and procuring materials and furnishings, and design administration⁣ as required for the specific project. We engage with and keep our clients informed⁣ throughout the process.
